With a strong background as a Health and Wellbeing Coach for the NHS, I specialise in weight management, women’s health, and coaching individuals living with long-term health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and arthritis.

Personal Training

Personal training can feel intimidating, especially if you’re worried about how you look, making mistakes, or being judged. But I want you to know that when you train with me, you’re in a private, comfortable space where your journey is the focus. I’ve been where you are – from being inactive and overweight to transforming my own fitness, I understand the challenges and the courage it takes to take the first step. In my private home gym, there’s no pressure, no distractions, just dedicated support. You won’t need to worry about anyone watching or feeling embarrassed. I’ll be there every step of the way to guide you, correct any form, and help you stay motivated.

MY JOURNEY

My journey to becoming a health coach began with a deeply personal experience that completely changed my mind set on health, fitness and wellbeing. I battled for years with manging my weight – low self-esteem and zero self-confidence consumed my life along with debilitating pain of IBS, anxiety, low mood and lack of energy. Life felt empty, weighted down by loneliness, lack of purpose or joy, I numbed the pain and sadness with take aways, junk food, chocolate and alcohol – yet the motivation to change felt out of reach.

    How often will I need health coaching sessions?

    Health coaching sessions are held either weekly or bi-weekly, in person or via video call. The frequency depends on your goals, progress, and the level of support you need to stay on track. Between sessions, I’ll provide additional guidance through my coaching app to help you stay accountable.

    How long will I need to work with a health coach?

    The length of time depends on your goals and progress. Some clients benefit from a few months of focused support, while others prefer ongoing guidance. Most start with a 6 or 12-week programme and reassess from there. My goal is to help you build habits that last well beyond our time working together.

    A personal training session is 55 minutes and designed around your specific goals—whether that’s building strength, improving fitness, or preparing for a race or event. Sessions include tailored guidance, technique correction, and motivation to push yourself. They can be 1-2-1 or you can train with a friend for a fun and supportive experience.     Do I need to be fit to start personal training?

    Not at all! Personal training is for everyone, whether you’re new to exercise or looking to push to the next level. We’ll start at your current fitness level and progress steadily, so you feel stronger and more confident every step of the way.

    What if I have injuries or health conditions?

    If you have an injury or health condition, it’s always best to check with your doctor before starting a programme. I can adapt exercises to ensure they are safe and effective for your needs. If you’re looking for support in managing a health condition, health coaching can help you build sustainable lifestyle habits to improve your overall well-being.

    What is the difference between personal training and online training?

    Personal training is in-person coaching where I provide real-time guidance, technique correction, and motivation. It’s ideal if you want hands-on support. Online training is delivered remotely through an app and is perfect for those who are confident with exercise and able to self-manage with minimal support. I create structured training programmes for different setups, whether you train in a commercial gym, a home gym, or with minimal equipment (like dumbbells, kettlebells, or resistance bands). You’ll receive a progressive plan tailored to your goals.

    What are the costs and packages for health coaching, personal training, and online training?

    • Health Coaching:From £50 per session, available as a package of 6 or 12 sessions. Sessions are personalised and supported through my coaching app.
    • Personal Training:From £30 per session for 55-minute in-person sessions. Available 1-2-1 or train with a friend. Discounted rate for 6 or 12-session packages.
    • Online Training:From £50 per month, including 3-5 training sessions per week, a weekly remote check-in, and access to a training app for tracking and support.
